Attendee terms and conditions

1. Registration and Invitation

Individuals who attend (or register to attend) any Event are referred to in these terms as “Attendees”. Upon requesting an invitation, you must provide RLC Global Forum with accurate and complete registration information. It is your responsibility to update RLC Global Forum regarding any changes to that information. RLC Global Forum is entitled to rely on all information provided by you. 

Each registration is for a single user only. The email address provided on the Request an Invitation form must correspond to a named business email account and not a generic, shared, or personal email account (e.g., @gmail.com, @yahoo.com). Registration attempts using personal or non-corporate domains may be deemed invalid and result in the cancellation of the application. 

2. Fees and Payment

In the event that a ticket purchase is required to attend an Event:

  • All ticket sales are final.
  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • In the unlikely event that a conference is canceled by the organizers, ticket holders will be offered a full refund of the ticket price within 30 days of the cancellation announcement. RLC Global Forum is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or incidental costs incurred by Attendees in the event of a cancellation.

3. Admission and Conduct

Upon RLC Global Forum’s written or email confirmation of its acceptance of your request, a legally binding contract is formed. RLC Global Forum reserves the right to refuse to accept any request for an invitation in its absolute discretion. 

RLC Global Forum reserves the right, without any liability, to refuse admission or eject you from any physical or online Event for failure to comply with these Terms, or if in RLC Global Forum’s opinion you represent a security risk, nuisance, or disruption to the running of the Event. 

4. Digital Services and Security

You are responsible for all use of any Digital Services made by you or anyone else using your Login Credentials and for preventing unauthorized use of your account. You are not permitted to make your own video or audio recordings of online Events, nor use any photographs or screenshots of the Event for commercial purposes, unless explicitly permitted by RLC Global Forum. 

5. Media Consent and Photography

By attending the Event, you agree to permit RLC Global Forum, or any third party licensed by RLC Global Forum, to use and distribute footage and photographs featuring your image in all media, including social media, AI applications, and digital formats now known or hereafter invented, throughout the world in perpetuity for promotional and editorial purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photographs, video footage, or any other media captured at the Event, please inform a member of the RLC Global Forum team on-site at the time of registration or upon arrival. 

6. Attendee Content and Conduct

Any content posted by Attendees must not:

  • Infringe on the copyright or intellectual property of any third party.
  • Contain unauthorized advertising, promotion, or spam.
  • Be threatening, offensive, libelous, or otherwise unlawful.

RLC Global Forum reserves the right to monitor, review, and remove any Attendee Content potentially in breach of these terms and may ban Attendees from further participation.

7. Liability

RLC Global Forum will not be liable for any kind of loss or damage to you or your personal property at any Event, unless caused by our gross negligence. Under no circumstances shall RLC Global Forum be liable for (i) any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or (ii) any loss of profit, opportunity, or travel-related costs resulting from Event changes or cancellations. 

8. Data Sharing

RLC Global Forum may share your contact details with Sponsors for purposes relating to your participation in the Event. We may also mention you on our official social media channels, with or without your photograph, as part of our event coverage. If you wish to object to such mentions, please contact us at community@rlcglobalforum.com. For further information on how your data is handled, please refer to our Privacy Policy. 

9. Force Majeure

RLC Global Forum shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, government restrictions or travel bans, civil unrest, terrorism, or failure of third-party infrastructure. In such cases, RLC Global Forum will endeavor to provide reasonable notice and, where possible, alternative arrangements or credits toward future events. 

10. Governing Law

RLC Global Forum is a platform operated by New York Institute of Management Inc. (“NYIM”). These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, as the jurisdiction of the New York Institute of Management. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country of residence.
