Antonio De Matteis is CEO of the Kiton Group and Creative Director of Menswear, as well as President of Pitti Immagine. Born in Naples on 22 January 1964 into a textile family, he began his career in sales before joining Kiton in 1986 under founder Ciro Paone. He became Commercial Director in 1990 and led the brand’s retail expansion, including its first Milan boutique. A shareholder since 1996, he was appointed CEO in 2007 after serving as Marketing Director. In 2018, he launched KNT (Kiton New Textures) with his sons, marking the third generation’s entry into the business. That same year, he received the NIAF Leonardo Da Vinci Award as Made in Italy Ambassador. Under his leadership, Kiton has expanded globally, with five Italian production sites, 800 employees, 60 flagship stores, and revenues exceeding €220 million. He is President of Pitti Immagine since 2023.
