Eng. Bandar earned his bachelor’s degree in 2004 from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals and later obtained a Diploma in Management from the University of Leicester. He has also received professional certifications from INSEAD Business School in France and IMD Business School in Switzerland. Bandar began his journey with Panda Retail Company in 2003 as a Division Manager of one of its stores. He was subsequently promoted to Operations Manager for the Western Region, followed by Support and Development Manager of the Operations Department. He later transitioned to the Commercial Division as a Director and then promoted to Vice President of the Commercial Division for Grocery Food. In 2025, he was promoted as Chief Commercial Officer.
