Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, Mars Middle East and Africa

Dalia is the Chief Marketing and Growth Officer for Mars Middle East and Africa, since Sept. 2023. She is responsible for building Solid Strategies to unlock growth across categories, win with consumers and shoppers as well as expand Mars Snacking and Petcare footprint across Middle East and Africa. In her current role, she spearheaded the chocolate rolled wafer expansion through a successful innovation pipeline roll out across Middle East Markets, driving penetration and double-digit growth. With Galaxy ‘Your Pleasure is your Promise’ and ‘Ramadan Generosity’ campaigns, she brought to life the fundamentals of Building iconic Brands powered by purpose and masterminded the recent Snickers Nasr FC sponsorship to drive higher affinity with Saudi and ME Football fans. Dalia has also elevated the Consumer and Shopper Centricity through setting the foundations for the Snacking Category Vision implementation in Saudi Arabia and UAE. Dalia joined Mars in 2019, as the first female GM of the Egypt Market and in Mars Middle East and Africa. Under her leadership, Egypt was on the top performing ranks among MEA, winning the MARS Star Award in 2021 as well as qualifying for “Make the Difference” Awards in 2022. As a leader, Dalia was also awarded the Women Leaders Role Model Award by Mars in 2023. With almost 25 years’ experience, Dalia has spent most of her career in marketing, where she led strong Brand campaigns, solid portfolio and innovation growth strategies, driving transformational business growth and results. Prior to Mars, she spent almost 13 years in PepsiCo, across both Beverages and Snacks divisions, where she delivered word class campaigns with Top celebrities like Mohamed Salah, as well as launching breakthrough innovations in Sparkling juice and the Salty snack segment. Dalia started her career in Account Management in BBDO, where she developed campaigns for various Brands across diverse industries and categories.
