Dr. Ayth Almubarak is the CEO of the National Center for Family Businesses, with over 15 years of experience in various roles and sectors. He is also a board member in a number of companies and organizations. Prior to joining NCFB, he was the Strategy Director and President Advisor at King Faisal University. He was also an advisor for various organizations such as MEWA, and SOCPA. He published over 20 academic and Op-ed articles, and presented in more than 10 conferences and forums. His expertise is in the fields of governance, strategic planning, and finance. He is also involved in analyzing public policies in the fields of economic development and educations. These interests intersect with his academic background and practical experience, which included strategic planning, strategy implementation, setting up institutional performance systems, developing governance structures and policies and procedures for organizations, setting investment policies and enterprise risk management systems. Dr. Almubarak has bachelor and master degrees in Accounting from KFU and University of Colorado at Boulder, and a PhD in Finance from University of Strathclyde. He also attended executive education programs in Public Policy Analysis from LSE, in Leadership from Oxford University, and in Board Membership with GCC BDI.
