Essam Aljubair is the Chief Operating Officer of SEVEN, bringing with him extensive leadership experience across both the public and private sectors in Saudi Arabia. Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in advancing the Kingdom’s entertainment, infrastructure, and service industries.
Currently, Aljubair serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Royal Institute of Traditional Arts, reflecting his commitment to preserving Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage. He also leads as General Manager of the Saudi Cinema Company, contributing to the transformation of the cinema landscape.
Previously, Aljubair held senior leadership positions that shaped critical sectors in the Kingdom. He served as Deputy Minister for Supply and Engineering Affairs at the Ministry of Health, where he oversaw vital infrastructure, operational functions, and lead the national preparedness strategy and response for health issues and crisis (Covid-19). His board experience includes serving with the National Unified Procurement Company (NUPCO) and the National Company for Business Solutions (NCBS), both instrumental in enabling national development. He also chaired Bayanat Al-Oula for Network Services and served as Managing Director of Zajil Saudi Arabia, contributing to the Kingdom’s advancement in network and digital services. He also served as a Board Member of the Saudi Facility Management Company (SFMC), a Public Investment Fund subsidiary that drives operational excellence in facility management.
Aljubair holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering and Building Science from the College of Architecture and Planning at King Saud University, earned in 1997. His academic background in engineering and architecture has provided a strong foundation for his career in operations, planning, and management.
With a track record of delivering results across industries, Essam Aljubair continues to be a key driver in building national capabilities and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals.
