Farah Ismail is a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Economy and Planning (MEP), responsible for the deputyship of sectoral and regional development affairs and leading different initiatives under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. Prior to joining MEP, Farah has held different managerial posts in the banking sector in the Kingdom with focus on structured and project finance of mega projects mainly in the petrochemical, oil/gas, power, water, shipping, and real estate industries.
Farah holds an executive MBA from London Business School and an undergraduate degree in Economics. Farah is a board member in Matarat Holding, General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information, for Transport General Authority, Saudi Irrigation Organization, Saudi Environment Fund, Agricultural Development Fund, and Saudi Export Development Authority.
