Georges Barakat is the Head of Retail, within PIF’s Local Real Estate Investment Division (LREID).
In his role with PIF, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia, Georges is focused on elevating the retail experience across PIF’s flagship real estate projects.
Georges is an experienced C-Suite executive, who has a proven track record of helping retail brands and organizations deliver transformative business impact in the Luxury & Consumer goods sector.
Throughout his career, Mr. Barakat has enabled several industry-leading brands to expand their presence and boost their revenues across a range of international markets including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), India, Africa, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Georges was previously the Chief Operating Officer for the Richemont Group in Saudi Arabia.
