Jarir Marketing Company is listed in Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), with a market capitalization close to US $ 5 billion. Jarir Bookstore, the retail division currently has 60 showrooms with a total of ~ 2.33 Million Sq.ft. located across KSA, Qatar, Kuwait and UAE. Jarir Marketing the wholesale division has 4 showrooms and 6 sales offices.
Mr. Alagil sits in several Boards, speaks at various conferences about Family Businesses and Family Investing and work at his philanthropy projects
Mr. Alagil earned a Masters of Eng. from University of California, Berkley in 1975 and a B.S. in Engineering from KFUPM in 1974. In addition, Mr. Alagil completed the OPM program at Harvard University in 1987.
