Had short stints in banking, auditing, manufacturing, and retail while in school. Started the full career in power and telecommunication manufacturing finance. Managed costing budgets and fixed assets to move after that to manage treasury operations. Last responsibility was acting finance manager. Moved afterwards to a multinational FMCG also in finance serving customers throughout GCC by manufacturing and marketing a group of homecare and personal was products. Migrated to a trading company afterwards and lead Finance, IT & Supply Chain functions re-engineering operations and introducing culture change to deliver growth.

Joined the largest food retail chain in the region to head the Finance function in 2004. In addition, lead the establishment and management of the highly paced expansion program for two and a half years executing the long-term growth strategy objectives. Later moved to lead the change management program positioning the company on track towards 2015 targets. With that in progress, managed the Commercial function and shortly afterwards took the helm of the company as CEO. A year later, was appointed a member of the board in addition to holding the CEO position.

Moved afterwards to the public sector to lead the regional and sectorial development of the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority of Saudi Arabia, Monshaat, as the Vice Governor. Established the sectorial priorities and structured the different regional programs to deliver the 2030 Vision’s targets for SMEs. Moving to Doyof Al Rahman Program, a 2030 Vision Program, was the next step to work on 2030 Vision’s objectives for Hajj and Umrah visitors.

In the middle of 2019, I went back to the private sector as an investor and pursued establishing investments in Retail consultancy, QSRs, and real estate investment. In addition, have been active in creating value as a certified management consultant by the Ministry Human Resources.

Have been holding several boards and committees’ roles since the beginning of 2021 and lead the second largest grocery retailer in Saudi. Therein, established and executed a major transformation program as the CEO and a Board of Directors’ member.

Joined the Red Sea Markets Company as the CEO in 2023 managing its iconic Red Sea Mall and establishing the new investment of the Point Mall in Abha. Led a value creation strategy delivering exciting customers’ shopping experiences. Have been busy with creating value for Circle K Middle East as a Board of Directors member. In addition, I have been creating value in the Hajj and Umrah sector as the Vice Chairman Board of Directors member as well as several committees’ seats.
