Patrick Kaudewitz is an experienced international Retail Expert with 26+ years at Schwarz Group – Europe‘s biggest retailer (CEO Lidl Ireland, COO Lidl International, CEO Kaufland) and 3 years as Chairman at REAL. Currently he serves as Executive Chairman of Wumart Supermarkets, the largest grocery retailer in the Beijing area. Furthermore he is Chief Retail Expert for leading omni-channel Retail Digitalisation Solutions Provider DMALL.
As Operating and Investment Partner at boutique PE firm The SCP Group he was involved in the acquisition of REAL Hypermarkets from Metro AG and managed the successful operational business plan execution of the largest retail restructuring project in Europe.
Since 2019 he also works with Triton Partners and currently acts as an Advisory Board Member for two of their portfolio companies.
Patrick holds a MBA-equivalent degree from the University of the Armed Forces Munich. He splits his time between Liechtenstein and Ireland, where his wife and his two daughters are based. Patrick is an avid cyclist.
