Rajesh Garg is the Group Chief Financial Officer for Landmark Group. Landmark is the largest and fastest-growing retailer across 21 countries, with 30 million sqft retail space and 42,000 employees. He has been leading enterprise-wide transformation including a big push into newer technologies such as RPA and Blockchain. He is helping Landmark take a lead in driving far more sustainable retail across 3 pillars of Sustainable Product, Sustainable Supply Chain & Sustainable Consumer Journeys.
Most recently, Rajesh was working as the Executive Director, Chief Financial Officer & Member of the Board with Cipla (India’s 3rd largest / world’s 15th largest generics Pharma Co. a Sensex30 stock) in Mumbai wherein he was leading F&A, Procurement, Information Technology and Multi-Functional Shared services. Prior to Cipla, he worked with UK retailer Tesco, first, in their India JV with the Tatas, where he was CFO & Strategy Director followed by a role in London leading Finance Transformation as part of the Group CFOs team.
Rajesh started his career with GE in their Corporate Audit Staff in New York, followed by a decade with Procter & Gamble across Europe, South & North America, across various businesses and brands, and then with Cadbury Schweppes in London and Asia as Regional CFO as well as other Senior leadership roles. He has a US Patent in knowledge management which he was awarded as part of a Cloud enterprise marketing management company founded with investments from P&G, Accenture, Draper Fisher etc.
Rajesh was born in India and studied Mechanical Engineering before getting his MBA jointly from Manchester Business School, UK and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
