Rakan is a customs and international trade specialist with more than 20 years of experience across the GCC, including extensive work in customs operations, audit, valuation, free zone compliance, and customs transformation initiatives. He has held several leadership roles within the Post Clearance Audit (PCA) function, including Exemptions Team Leader, Free Zone Audits Team Leader, and Import Audit Team Leader.
Rakan maintains strong and trusted relationships with Customs and Trade Authorities across the GCC and the wider Middle East and has led major transformation and advisory projects covering customs processes, PCA frameworks, valuation methodologies, free zone operating models, and customs capacitybuilding programs.
