Richard Simonin, French Citizen, living in Bologna Italy since 2011 has held Chairman & CEO positions in Luxury: Kenzo (LVMH), Givenchy (LVMH), Escada, Harrods and in Retail: La Redoute (PPR-KERING), Etam Group, Limoni, Vivarte Since 2016, he is a Senior Advisor and an independent Retail Transformation and Turnaround Expert. Since 2017, he is Vice-Chairman of the Board at Al Tayer Retail in Dubai. In addition he has led the transformation and turnaround of the Company in 2019 as COO and CTO. This transformation has paved the way to the emergence of Ounass a leading Luxury pure player in the region. In the last 20 years, Richard has been leading major turnarounds of disrupted retailers through transformations of the organizations. He has an extensive experience and expertise in Financial restructurings, Product-Offering and Marketing mix repositioning. Under his guidance some major brick & mortar retailers have been regaining performance, agility, profitability and became effectively Omni-Channel due to effective digitalization.
