Zia is the Chief Content Officer at EMARKETER, a data and insights firm owned by Germany’s Axel Springer. She oversees a team of 100+ analysts and forecasters who cover global digital trends with a focus on retail, ecommerce and digital marketing. In this role, she regularly presents on changing digital dynamics at major conferences around the world.
From 2015-2020, Zia was the Chief Global Content Officer at Shoptalk and co-founder of Groceryshop. In 2019, Shoptalk and Groceryshop were acquired by UK-based Hyve Group for a combined $145 million. She also spent 7 years at Forrester Research where she led the team covering global omnichannel retail.
Zia holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MALD from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She lives in New York City.
